What an amazing experience. Do take the time to check out part of Australian History. The Tour guides are knowledgeable and friendly and fun. They make the experience so worth it. I am a fan of story telling and the way the guides tell the story of this amazing place is just super awesome. You can purchase tickets beforehand or upon arrival. Even my Neurodiverse son was thoroughly immersed in it. Make sure you take your walking shoes and hat and drink bottle. Stay for a cuppa and chat with the guides and caretaker afterwards.

All I can say about this place is Wow!! The whole area is mindblowing. We did a tour of the dinosaur stampede which was incredible and Zak our tour guide was amazing!

Fascinating site. Tour interesting. Drive is long and very rough. Consider going with Red Dirt Tours who drive you there with really good commentary and well catered.

Wow! What a place to visit. The information shared was incredible, the tour guides were great. The site itself is very interesting. We also enjoyed the short walks around the complex.

If dinosaurs are your thing, make the long ( bit over 100km) dusty journey from Winton to Lark Quarry. It’s a very unique world class paleontological exhibit showing a large predatory dinosaur chasing lots of smaller dinosaurs. Very informative, interpretive commentary in the purpose built facility, designed to protect the footprints. There is some great scenery along the way if you do a bit of research and get off the beaten track.

The dinosaur tracks! The stunning Country that surrounds the centre! The awesome drive out on rough roads! What a day. Highly recommended. Be sure to leave plenty of time for the drive (2hrs is the recommended) as the roads are corrugated in some places and there are road trains and animals galore.

It's the only known evidence of a dinosaur stampede anywhere in the world. Well presented & explained. The walks around the site are also great.Certainly worth a visit.....I cannot believe that people come all the way to Winton & don't make the extra effort to go here.

Tom our guide was very knowledgeable. Truly amazing experience seeing 🦕 footprints made 95 million years ago. Worst part was the road into the Lark Quarry. Some bitumen & a lot of dusty unsealed bumpy dirt. Road needs urgent upgrading. Was a big negative.
